Paris Air Show: AviLease Announces Order for 40 Airbus Aircraft

AviLease, the Saudi Arabia-based aircraft lessor, confirmed an initial order for 10 Airbus A350F freighters and 30 A320neo family aircraft, marking a strategic step in its consolidation as a key player in the global air leasing market.

The deal, officially signed during the event in Le Bourget, also includes a potential future expansion to 22 A350Fs and 55 A320neos. This move not only underscores AviLease’s ambition but also reflects its commitment to more sustainable and efficient fleets.

Edward O’Byrne, CEO of AviLease, highlighted the significance of this agreement for the company’s positioning: “We are proud to establish an order book with Airbus, reinforcing our position as a global full-service, investment-grade lessor. The addition of these next-generation aircraft enhances our ability to deliver modern and efficient solutions to our airline partners, both in Saudi Arabia and worldwide.”

The A350F will set a new standard in air cargo, while the A320neo family remains the preferred choice for airlines and lessors. This dual order solidifies AviLease’s leadership in the industry.”
