▶ Porter Airlines Announces Flights to Mexico, the Caribbean, and Costa Rica from Canada for Winter

Porter Airlines is expanding its reach to sunny destinations with the launch of 13 new routes to Mexico, the Caribbean, and Costa Rica. This marks the first time the Canadian airline will operate flights outside its traditional network in Canada and the United States. Starting in November 2025, passengers can fly from Toronto Pearson, Ottawa, and Hamilton airports to five international cities: Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Nassau, Grand Cayman, and Liberia.

Cancun:

From Toronto Pearson: 7 weekly flights starting November 5, 2025.

From Ottawa: 3 weekly flights starting December 17.

From Hamilton: 4 weekly flights also starting December 17.

Puerto Vallarta:

Toronto Pearson: 3 weekly flights starting November 14.

Ottawa: 2 weekly flights starting December 13.

Hamilton: 2 weekly flights starting December 18.

Toronto Pearson: 7 weekly flights starting November 26.

Ottawa: 1 weekly flight starting December 13.

Toronto Pearson: 3 weekly flights starting December 16.

Ottawa: 1 weekly flight starting December 19.

Costa Rica

Liberia:

Exclusive Routes and Partnerships

Porter will be the only airline offering flights from Ottawa to Grand Cayman and Liberia, as well as from Hamilton to Puerto Vallarta and Nassau. Additionally, its partnership with Air Transat strengthens its regional presence, providing travelers with more options in terms of dates, frequencies, and destinations. This collaboration allows VIPorter members to redeem points starting at 10,000 for one-way flights on both airlines to sun destinations.

A Premium Economy Experience

All flights will be operated on modern Embraer E195-E2 aircraft with a capacity of 132 passengers, featuring no middle seats thanks to their 2-2 configuration. Porter’s offering stands out with premium Canadian snacks, complimentary beer and wine served in glassware, fast and free WiFi suitable for multiple devices, and access to personal streaming content.

Passengers who choose the PorterReserve fare will enjoy priority boarding, extra-legroom seats, premium pre-mixed cocktails, and fresh, healthy meals. These services are also available à la carte for those traveling on the PorterClassic fare.
