Qatar Airways has been named the “World’s Best Airline” for the ninth time at the 2025 World Airline Awards ceremony, held on Tuesday, June 17, at the Air and Space Museum of Le Bourget Airport, as part of the Paris Air Show.
A High-Profile Ceremony
The gala, renowned as the “Oscars of the aviation industry,” brought together over 500 guests, including presidents, CEOs, and senior executives from airlines worldwide. Skytrax, the organizing body, maintains complete independence in the process: all survey and event costs are covered by them, reinforcing the legitimacy of these awards.
Qatar Airways: Undisputed Leadership
Qatar Airways not only secured the top title but also claimed three other key accolades:
- Best Airline in the Middle East
- World’s Best Business Class
- World’s Best Business Class Lounge
Group CEO Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer described these awards as a celebration of the company’s commitment and excellence: “Being named the World’s Best Airline for the ninth time is an extraordinary honor […] these awards are a testament to the trust of millions of passengers who choose us every year.”
