This Tuesday, German airline Condor announced three new European destinations from Frankfurt Airport for the summer 2026 season: Barcelona, Budapest, and Venice. This strategic move strengthens its already robust route network in the region and comes in response to the positive reception of its previous connections with other capitals and major cities across the continent.
New Routes, More Options for Urban and Business Travelers
Starting May 1, 2026, Condor will offer daily flights to the three newly added cities. The schedules are spread across morning, afternoon, and evening, providing greater flexibility for both business and leisure travelers. These new routes complement the airline’s existing portfolio, which already includes Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Paris, Milan, Rome, Vienna, Zurich, and Prague.
Peter Gerber, CEO of Condor, emphasized: “Condor has solidified its position in the market with the new urban routes from Frankfurt. Since then, we have offered our guests an attractive product featuring daily flights at optimal times for business and urban tourism travelers. This has been well received, so it makes sense to take the next step with Barcelona, Budapest, and Venice.”

Fleet Modernization and Enhanced Onboard Experience
The new routes will be operated with modern Airbus A320neo aircraft, part of the airline’s short-haul fleet modernization plan. These planes are not only more efficient but also offer greater comfort: more spacious overhead compartments, Wi-Fi connectivity, and a redesigned cabin to improve the passenger experience.
Class Configuration and Onboard Services
Condor maintains its two-class offering for these routes:
- Business Class: Includes high-quality beverages and a snack.
- Economy Class: Offers complimentary water and a sweet treat as a courtesy.
Bookings Available Soon
Tickets for these three new destinations will be available for purchase by the end of next week, both through travel agencies and on Condor’s official website.
