Traveling with Comfort and Convenience
One of the highlights of this new route is the convenience it offers passengers, thanks to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility at Abu Dhabi International Airport. This pre-clearance system allows travelers to complete immigration and customs procedures before boarding, enabling them to arrive in the U.S. as domestic passengers, saving time upon arrival.
Etihad Airways and Its Commitment to the Flight Experience
The Airbus A350-1000 is the star of this new route. In Business Class, passengers enjoy 44 Business Suites, each with a sliding door for added privacy and comfort. The seats are fully reclinable, transforming into 79-inch flat beds, with ample storage space and a state-of-the-art entertainment system. Passengers can also enjoy noise-canceling headphones and an 18.5-inch TV screen to make the most of the in-flight content.
In Economy Class, 327 seats feature an innovative design, including 13-inch touch screens and Bluetooth connectivity, enhancing the onboard entertainment experience. Additionally, all passengers enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi packages to stay connected during the flight, with the option to access full internet service.
Demand Drives Rapid Expansion
The route will initially operate with four weekly flights. However, high demand has prompted Etihad to accelerate its expansion plans. Starting in November 2025, the airline will operate daily flights on this route, reflecting the interest from both leisure and business travelers.
With this expansion, Etihad Airways facilitates access between the southeastern U.S. and the Middle East while strengthening its role as a bridge between diverse cultures, offering a unique travel experience to its passengers.
