The Spanish airline Iberia has announced a recruitment for new pilots based in Madrid. This initiative is part of its ambitious Flight Plan 2030, which outlines significant expansion in both routes and fleet. The process, aimed at professionals with at least 500 flight hours in CS-25 certified aircraft or equivalent, will be conducted in staggered phases.

With this recruitment drive, Iberia aims to meet its projected growth in the coming years. Key highlights of its roadmap include new international destinations such as Toronto, Philadelphia, Monterrey, Orlando, Fortaleza, and Recife, as well as the addition of more Airbus A350 and A321XLR aircraft.
Additionally, the airline plans to fully renew its short- and medium-haul fleet to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and passenger experience.

Requirements to Apply
The selection process is designed to ensure the recruitment of highly qualified candidates. Below are the essential requirements:
Training and Licenses
- Successful completion of university entrance exams or equivalent qualifications.
- Hold an EASA Part FCL frozen ATPL(A) and MCC.
- If the license was not issued by AESA (Spain), the candidate must obtain it within a maximum of 4 months after hiring. The process is the applicant’s responsibility.
Experience and Certifications
- Minimum 500 flight hours in CS-25 or similar aircraft, with active experience as a pilot for an operator.
- Language proficiency: minimum English level 4, Spanish level 5.
- Unrestricted passport and right to work in the EU.
- Valid Class 1 medical certificate and clean criminal record.
- Height between 157 cm and 191 cm.
Additional Merits (Preferred but Not Mandatory)
- Unrestricted ATPL(A) license.
- Specific type ratings.
- University degree.
- Additional aeronautical experience.
Selection Process
