Delta Air Lines has opened the doors to its newest Delta Sky Club in Concourse B at Salt Lake City International Airport, a space that redefines the travel experience with elegance and comfort. Spanning nearly 34,000 square feet (over 3,150 m²), this new lounge—the second largest in the airline’s global network—can accommodate up to 600 passengers and pays homage to Utah’s natural beauty through a carefully curated design.
“Salt Lake City continues to be a key hub within our network, and the opening of this second Sky Club reflects our commitment to the market,” said Claude Roussel, Vice President of Delta Sky Club and Lounge Experience. “Every detail, from the furniture layout to the culinary offerings, was designed based on customer feedback to create an environment that feels like a home away from home.”
Design Inspired by Utah Landscapes
The new Club blends functionality and aesthetics with clear inspiration from the state’s nature. From its entrance, a geometric ceiling and terrazzo mosaic flooring evoke the glint of winter light on snow. On the upper level, wood tones, copper details, and jewel-toned accents reflect Utah’s mountains, lakes, and caverns, creating a warm and modern atmosphere.

Art plays a central role: the walls display works by local artists interpreting the textures and colors of the state’s landscape. Furthermore, the Digital Immersion Wall, an innovation new to Delta Sky Clubs, surrounds visitors with panoramic images of Utah’s most iconic locations, accompanied by natural sounds for an immersive sensory experience. Velvet curtains, acoustic panels, and dark tones enhance the feeling of calm and exclusivity.
Amenities Designed for Every Traveler
The space offers panoramic views of the airfield, a welcoming premium bar, and nine soundproof phone booths for those needing to work in private. The dining area stands out with its buffet featuring fresh salads, sandwiches, and other made-to-order dishes, along with two beverage stations offering coffee, tea, soft drinks, and a unique “Dirty Soda Bar,” exclusive to this club.
Part of the “The New SLC” Project
The inauguration of the new Delta Sky Club is part of the airline’s ongoing investment in Salt Lake City and the ambitious modernization program “The New SLC.” The expansion of Concourse B with 10 new boarding gates improves operational efficiency and traffic flow, offering a more spacious and seamless experience for passengers.
Furthermore, SkyMiles members using the Fly Delta app can expedite their security screening thanks to TSA PreCheck Touchless ID lanes, which verify their identity biometrically. Meanwhile, Delta One passengers departing from Salt Lake City now enjoy an exclusive check-in service with personalized attention, which will be available at all Delta hubs before the end of the year.
Delta in Utah: Global Connectivity and Local Commitment
Delta solidifies its role as the leading airline in Salt Lake City, operating up to 255 daily flights during peak times to nearly 100 destinations worldwide. This year, the company launched its first direct route between Salt Lake City and Seoul (South Korea) and plans to begin daily flights to Lima (Peru), marking its first service from the Utah capital to South America.
