LEVEL is preparing for its most ambitious winter season yet. The Barcelona-based long-haul airline will increase its capacity to nearly 400,000 seats, almost double that of the previous winter, thereby solidifying its position as the leading transatlantic carrier at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport.

Expansion of Routes to the Americas

This growth focuses on connections between Barcelona and the Americas, particularly to the United States and South America, with significant increases on routes to New York (JFK), Buenos Aires, and Santiago.

Strengthened Connectivity with the United States

LEVEL’s transatlantic network will see a 58% increase in seat capacity to North America compared to last winter.

New York (JFK) is confirmed as the flagship route, with seven weekly flights during peak demand months. This represents four more frequencies than the previous season and a 120% growth in capacity.

For Boston, the airline will offer up to five weekly flights during December and January, two more than in the 2024 season.

The Barcelona-Miami (MIA) route, entering its second winter of operation, will maintain between three and four weekly flights.

In Los Angeles (LAX), LEVEL will continue to be the only airline offering direct, non-stop flights from Barcelona, with three stable weekly frequencies throughout the season.

Consolidating Leadership in South America

The growth also extends to the Latin American market, where LEVEL strengthens its role as a direct bridge between Europe and South America.

The route to Buenos Aires, one of the most in-demand, will reach up to 12 weekly frequencies in November and 11 during December and January.

For Santiago, the company will increase its capacity with up to five weekly flights, a 53% increase in seats compared to the previous winter.

Overall, the South American market will exceed 190,000 seats, representing a 40% increase compared to the previous season. LEVEL also maintains its position as the only airline offering direct connections between Barcelona and both Buenos Aires and Santiago.

Sustained Growth and Commitment to Barcelona

The winter expansion is part of LEVEL’s strategic development plan, which bets on sustained growth from its hub in Barcelona. With nearly 400,000 seats available, the airline will achieve the largest winter schedule in its history, with a global increase of nearly 50%.

Lucía Adrover, Chief Commercial & Network Officer of LEVEL, emphasized that “the sustained growth of our winter schedule reflects the confidence from our key markets and our commitment to the intercontinental connectivity of Barcelona with the most strategic destinations in the Americas year-round.”

Adrover added that the goal is to “offer a more robust and complete schedule, with direct flights to inspiring destinations and a competitive value proposition, accompanied by a close and personalized experience.”
