This Sunday, Discover Airlines had a double celebration. The airline launched its new flights from Frankfurt to Seychelles and from Munich to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.
Seychelles: A New Destination and a Year-Round Direct Connection
With the addition of Seychelles to its network, Discover Airlines gains a new exotic destination and strengthens the limited number of direct flights from Germany to the archipelago.
Initially, the route was scheduled only for the winter season (October to April), but due to high demand, the company has decided to operate it permanently year-round. Flights from Frankfurt operate on Tuesdays and Sundays, offering more options for travelers seeking a tropical destination with a direct connection.

Punta Cana: More Caribbean Options, Now Also from Munich
The other major news from Discover Airlines is the new connection between Munich and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, one of the favorite destinations for German tourists, especially during the winter months.
Between October and the end of April, the airline will operate flights from Munich to the Caribbean on Wednesdays and Sundays. During the winter holidays, an extra Monday flight will be added, increasing capacity to meet the seasonal surge in demand.
Sustained Growth in the Caribbean
Discover Airlines began flying from Frankfurt to the Dominican Republic in the summer of 2021. With the new connection from Germany’s second-largest airport, the company is strengthening its presence in the Caribbean and consolidating its expansion strategy.
In total, the airline will offer up to eight weekly flights to the region, a figure that reflects its commitment to continued growth in long-haul leisure markets.
