Spanish airline Air Europa has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Airbus for the acquisition of up to 40 A350-900 aircraft. This commitment was revealed during the Dubai Airshow.
Boosting Profitable Expansion towards Latin America
The incorporation of the A350-900 will allow Air Europa to boost its profitable growth in key Latin American markets. Thanks to the A350’s performance and efficiency, the airline will be able to expand its route network without compromising service quality.
Juan José Hidalgo, Chairman of Air Europa, highlighted: “This order is a strategic milestone in the development of our fleet, as it accelerates profitable growth through the renewal of our wide-body aircraft. The A350-900 is a game-changer for key destinations in Latin America. It offers an exceptional cabin experience and the operational and economic performance needed to expand the airline’s network without compromises, guaranteeing the highest standards in air transport.”
From Airbus, Benoît de Saint-Exupéry, Executive Vice President of Sales for the Commercial Aircraft business, stated: “We are proud to welcome Air Europa to the A350 family.
