Arajet launched its new route between Boston and the Las Américas International Airport in Santo Domingo this Friday. This service marks a new milestone in the company’s growth process within the U.S. market.

Flights to and from Boston will operate four times per week—on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays—strengthening air connectivity between New England and Santo Domingo. With this addition, the airline now serves six destinations in the United States, alongside Miami, San Juan, New York, Chicago, and Orlando.

A Key Market for the Dominican Diaspora

Boston represents a strategic point for Arajet, as it is home to one of the largest Dominican communities in the country, with approximately 200,000 residents in the region. The new route aims to facilitate travel back home, strengthen cultural and emotional ties, and offer accessible travel alternatives for those who maintain connections with the island.

Víctor Pacheco, CEO and founder of the company, emphasized: “Boston is a vital market for Arajet, as it hosts one of the largest Dominican communities in the United States. This new route offers passengers an easy and affordable way to fly while providing seamless connections to over 25 destinations in the Caribbean and Latin America.”

The executive also revealed that, after reaching six routes in the United States, the airline plans to add new destinations to continue its expansion in 2026.

The new service not only directly connects Boston with Santo Domingo but also reinforces the goal of establishing the Dominican Republic as a connection hub for the Americas. Passengers will be able to conveniently connect to over 25 destinations within Arajet’s network, including Aruba, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Guatemala.
