Emirates Group has announced a partnership with OpenAI aimed at boosting the adoption of artificial intelligence across the entire organization. The agreement includes the enterprise-wide deployment of ChatGPT Enterprise, accompanied by digital literacy programs, technical exploration, and executive strategic alignment to integrate AI capabilities into every area of the group.
Ali Serdar Yakut, Executive Vice President of IT, emphasized: “We see enormous potential in artificial intelligence technology to support our business needs, helping us tackle complex commercial challenges, strengthen our operations, and enhance the customer experience. Joint Initiatives
The cooperation between the two entities will include:
- Introduction of practical use cases.
- Creation of an internal AI ambassadors network.
- Establishment of an Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence.
These actions will enable the identification of key areas to scale technological capabilities, encompassing the critical competencies, processes, and tools needed to usher Emirates into a new era.
Access to Research and Innovation Projects
Thanks to this partnership, Emirates will gain early access to cutting-edge research and emerging advancements in artificial intelligence. Furthermore, it will participate in innovation projects driven by governments and accelerators, strengthening its role as a benchmark in the sector.
Training and Leadership
Both companies will organize specific sessions for management, with the goal of:
- Exploring practical applications of AI.
- Fostering sponsorship and support for technology initiatives.
- Providing leaders with visibility into OpenAI’s product roadmap for long-term planning.
Optimization and Experimentation
The technology teams from Emirates and OpenAI will work together to:
- Optimize the integration of AI models.
- Establish rapid prototyping and deployment practices.
- Provide testing environments that accelerate experimentation across multiple generative AI-based use cases.
