Aer Lingus has announced that it will operate a new non-stop route between Dublin Airport and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Service will begin on May 25, 2026, using Airbus A321LR aircraft, equipment designed to cover long-haul routes with high efficiency.
This connection will allow U.S. travelers to access, via Dublin, more than 30 European destinations, including Paris, Rome, Amsterdam, Berlin, Venice, and Manchester.
Aer Lingus’s Strategic Expansion
The addition of Pittsburgh is part of a growth plan that includes six new routes, five of them within Europe. With this move, the Irish airline aims to strengthen its presence in markets with high potential.
The flight schedule establishes four weekly frequencies—Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday—with year-round service, except for a brief pause during January and February.
Scheduled Timings
- Dublin → Pittsburgh: Departure at 16:10, arrival at 19:10
- Pittsburgh → Dublin: Departure at 20:40, arrival at 08:40 the following day
