Aer Lingus has announced the launch of a new service between Dublin and Bridgetown, Barbados, which will operate from March 31 to May 31, 2026. This seasonal route will offer Irish passengers a direct connection to the Caribbean during the spring season—a move that combines commercial opportunity, the deployment of next-generation fleet, and long-haul network diversification.
Flight Schedule and Pricing
he service will operate three times per week, with departures on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Fares start from 229 euros one way, including taxes and fees.

For this route, Aer Lingus will utilize its Airbus A321XLR, the longest-range single-aisle aircraft in its fleet. The A321XLR is configured with 184 seats across two classes:
- 16 seats in Business Class
- 168 seats in Economy Class
The selection of the A321XLR aligns with the strategy of airlines seeking to open or test long-haul markets with lower operating costs compared to wide-body aircraft.
