Aerolíneas Argentinas has announced a significant expansion of its international operations to the United States. The carrier is launching new flights from Córdoba, Rosario, and Tucumán to Miami, a move directly linked to the upcoming World Cup. Operations are set to begin on June 8, representing one of the company’s most substantial recent capacity reinforcements for long-haul international routes.
This announcement aims not only to capture the extraordinary demand generated by the sporting event but also to strengthen a key strategic pillar for the airline: expanding international flight access from the country’s interior and reducing dependence on the Buenos Aires hub.
New Routes from the Interior: Operational Schedule and Frequencies
The new services will operate with a technical stop in Punta Cana. The frequency schedule has been defined as follows:
- Córdoba – Miami: 2 weekly flights, operating on Mondays and Wednesdays.
- Rosario – Miami: 3 weekly frequencies, operating on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
- Tucumán – Miami: 2 weekly flights, operating on Thursdays and Saturdays.

A 93% Surge in Miami Capacity
With the addition of these routes, Aerolíneas Argentinas will reach a total of 29 weekly flights to Miami. This represents a 93% increase compared to the 2025 schedule for that market.
The total offering consists of:
- 20 weekly flights from Buenos Aires.
- 2 direct flights from Córdoba.
- New services from Córdoba, Rosario, and Tucumán with a technical stop.
A key detail is that once the competition concludes, the Córdoba–Miami route will continue to operate on a regular basis. This suggests that the company sees structural potential in the market beyond the temporary peak associated with the World Cup.
Complementing with Special Flights to Dallas and Kansas
The Miami reinforcement is not an isolated action. This schedule is complemented by special flights to Dallas and Kansas, specifically designed to accompany the Argentine National Team during the tournament’s first phase.
Taken together, these operations reflect planning oriented toward covering both massive passenger demand and the logistical needs linked to the world’s most relevant sporting event.
