Breeze Airways has announced a comprehensive refresh of its food and beverage program to celebrate five years of operations. The carrier is introducing the “Island Breeze,” its first signature cocktail, alongside a curated selection of snacks and beverages from premium brands to bolster its value proposition.
A Gastronomic Offering Built on Personalization
The menu overhaul aims to reflect the company’s core philosophy: delivering a high-quality product at a competitive price point. According to Dana Shapir, the airline’s Chief Guest Officer, this milestone represents the ideal moment to “raise the bar” for the passenger experience through options that allow for greater customization.
Debut of “Island Breeze” and New Beverage Partnerships
The centerpiece of this update is the Island Breeze, a sparkling vodka cocktail featuring orange liqueur, cranberry, passion fruit, and sea salt, developed in collaboration with Straightaway Cocktails. This drink will be available for $12 (or two for $22).
Furthermore, the airline has integrated internationally renowned brands into its catalog:
- Archer Roose Wines: Luxury canned wines, including Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir, and Bubbly Rosé.
- Still G.I.N. by Dre and Snoop: A premium gin option for passengers seeking versatility.
- Peet’s Coffee: The “Off the Grid” blend will be served, which will be entirely complimentary for all travelers on every flight.
Flexibility and Savings: New Snacks and Bundles
Following the flexible model that characterizes its fare structure, Breeze has organized its food service under an a la carte system and curated bundles.
A La Carte Snack Variety
The new selection includes options ranging from $5 to $10, featuring:
- Albanese fruit gummies and Kettle Brand chips.
- Health-conscious choices such as Cooper Street Granola Bakes.
- Prepared meals including Soon Veggie Ramen noodles and Alp and Dell cheese plates.
“Bundle and Save” Packages
To optimize costs for the passenger, the airline has designed themed combos:
- Vacation Starts Now ($17): Spirit, soda or juice, and a snack.
- Picnic on a Plane ($18): Wine and an Alp and Dell cheese plate.
- Sharing is Caring ($15): Two non-alcoholic beverages and two snacks.
- Chill Time Combo ($14): Non-alcoholic beverage and a curated snack box.
