Volotea has launched a new non-stop service connecting Malaga-Costa del Sol Airport and Limoges, France. The new operation not only strengthens the airline’s presence on the Costa del Sol but also consolidates its international connectivity strategy by linking Andalusia with key European markets during the peak summer season.
Frequencies and Summer Capacity Strategy
The new route will operate exclusively during the summer season, tailoring its seat capacity to projected demand during peak travel months:
- July: The flight schedule will feature a weekly frequency, operating on Thursdays.
- August: The carrier will double its capacity, scaling up to two weekly frequencies operating on Thursdays and Sundays.
This connection also provides a strategic boost to Volotea’s operational base in Limoges (located in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region), approximately 200 kilometers from Bordeaux. Launched in February of this year, this facility marks the company’s 12th base in France and its 21st across Europe.
