Air Transat makes a record flight of 7,600km with Airbus A321LR.
On Monday morning, an Air Transat A321LR landed in Athens (Greece) after crossing the Atlantic and making a record flight of 7,600 km from the city of Montreal (Canada).

Flight TS690 took off from Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport at 5:25pm on Sunday, and after an 8 hour 20 minute flight landed at the Greek capital’s airport.
“The A321LR has lived up to its name like never before. Here is the unmatched long-range route opener offers true transatlantic capabilities with a single-aisle aircraft,” wrote Airbus in a tweet.
With this flight, the A321LR demonstrates its potential for intercontinental commercial routes, offering airlines the flexibility to operate long-haul flights on single-aisle aircraft, at a time when travel has declined sharply due to the coronavirus pandemic.
