A Delta Air Lines plane with 77 people on board slid off a taxiway before takeoff at Pittsburgh International Airport in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Flight 2231 was about to depart when it partially slid into a ditch. The Boeing 717 was bound for Atlanta.

The plane was safely evacuated and all passengers were taken to the terminal. No injuries were reported.
The National Weather Service reported light snow at the time of the incident, along with fog and three-quarters of a mile visibility.
Delta disclosed that it is conducting a full review in coordination with the Allegheny County Airport Authority and “other aviation stakeholders.”
