Aeromexico will operate from new Felipe Angeles International Airport.
Aeromexico announced Wednesday that it will begin operating from the new Felipe Angeles International Airport (AIFA) in April; the airline will connect Merida and Villahermosa with a daily frequency. Travelers will have the flexibility of having the highest number of frequencies in the market to fly from these two cities to AIFA or to Mexico City’s International Airport (AICM).
This decision is based on the result of the network, location, and customer needs analysis, likewise the use of the airport infrastructure in this terminal, which is being launched as a new option for air connectivity to and from the center of Mexico.

With these new routes, Aeromexico will be directly connecting the Mexico City metropolitan area with 43 domestic destinations.
