The Brazilian airline GOL announced that it will directly connect the cities of Manaus and Miami as of December 17. The new route will operate twice a week (Wednesday and Saturday) on Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, and will last almost 6 hours.
Amazonas travelers will have in Miami a possibility of fast connection to American cities with American Airlines, thanks to the alliance between both airlines.

GOL also announced that as of December 3, it will resume its direct flights between Fortaleza and Miami with a weekly frequency on Saturdays.
GOL Linhas Aéreas resumed its flights to the United States last May. Today, it offers daily and direct departures between the Brasilia International Airport and the cities of Miami and Orlando (Florida).
“Although GOL’s flights to Miami and Orlando, from Brasilia, favor customers on connecting flights coming mainly from Congonhas, Guarulhos, Santos Dumont, RIOgaleão, Salvador, Curitiba, Florianópolis and Porto Alegre, who can make the entire trip to Florida in a single day, this new route to Miami, which begins in December, will largely cover passengers from Amazonas and neighboring states bound for the US, as well as Americans and other North Americans bound for to this renowned tourist and business region of the country”, highlights Bruno Balan, Manager of Strategic Planning for Airlines at GOL.
