Avianca announced Monday the launch of a new route that will connect San Salvador, Guatemala and San Pedro Sula, starting December 1.
The flights will be operated in Airbus A320 aircraft with capacity for 150 passengers on 3 weekly flights between the 3 cities, making available to customers about 1,000 seats per week.
→ Avianca announces 7 new routes and strengthens connectivity with U.S., Brazil and Chile.
“Guatemala, San Pedro Sula and San Salvador are important cities for trade and tourism in the Central American region, and as Avianca, we want to give our customers more and better connectivity options between these cities and, above all, to give Guatemalans a direct option to connect with San Pedro Sula, one of the most important industrial cities in Central America,” said Rolando Damas, Avianca’s Sales Director for North, Central America and the Caribbean.
