Aerolíneas Estelar announced that it will start flights between Caracas and Bogotá as from December 28, becoming the second Venezuelan airline to fly to Colombia since the resumption of air operations between both countries.

The route will operate two weekly frequencies (Wednesdays and Fridays) in Boeing 737 aircraft.

Flights will depart from Maiquetia International Airport at 16:00, landing in Bogota at 17:00. From El Dorado it will take off at 18:30, arriving at Venezuela’s main airport at 21:30.

In this way, Aerolíneas Estelar will join Turpial Airlines, which last November 9 started operations between Caracas and Bogota, in what meant the reactivation of the air connection between both cities, which had been suspended since March 2020, as a result of the beginning of the COVID 19 pandemic.
