With the addition of this new destination, the eighth from Barcelona, Volotea continues to complement the international offer from El Prat airport, connecting Barcelona with its operating bases in France (Strasbourg, Lille, Marseille and Nantes), Italy (Olbia, Verona and Cagliari) and Spain (Asturias).
“This new route between Barcelona and Sardinia is a reflection of Volotea’s strategy for 2023: to complement the international route offering and consolidate island connectivity. Volotea is continuously adapting to the evolving needs of its customers, who, once again, are showing an interest and need to travel outside their national borders,” says Gabriel Schmilovich Isgut, Volotea’s Chief Strategy Officer.
