With a LATAM Airlines flight to Lima, Santiago Airport began operating outbound flights in the new T2-F building, the fourth and last wing of the International Terminal (T2), inaugurated in February 2022.

T2-F had already started to operate international inbound flights since last April, as part of an action plan for conservation works on the aprons located between buildings T2C and T2E, which has implied reducing the number of boarding gates available in those areas.

With the implementation of outbound flights, it is possible to enable all of its 22,000 m2, with the operation of 10 boarding gates, children’s games and services, in addition to six new commercial premises, which will be opened progressively in the coming weeks.

The General Manager of Nuevo Pudahuel, Nicolas Claude, highlighted that the building “pays tribute to a very important area for Chilean identity such as Patagonia, which will be represented in various aspects of its design. T2-F allows us to add additional capacity and complete the implementation of the International Terminal, which since its inauguration has more than doubled the infrastructure available for flights between Chile and abroad”.
