JetBlue Resumes Direct Flights from Fort Lauderdale to Philadelphia and Guayaquil
JetBlue announced this Thursday the return of two nonstop routes from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), marking a renewed push for its focus on South Florida and its commitment to travelers from the U.S. East Coast and Latin America. Starting in July 2025, the airline will resume flights to Philadelphia and Guayaquil, Ecuador.
New Frequencies, Competitive Fares
Tickets are now available with promotional fares starting at $69 for the Philadelphia route and $119 to Guayaquil, exclusively through JetBlue’s website. This relaunch is part of a broader expansion in the region, with a 6% increase in departures from South Florida compared to last year.
JetBlue solidifies its position as the leading airline in the premium leisure segment from Fort Lauderdale, with over 70 daily flights to more than 30 destinations. Additionally, this summer, it will offer the highest number of flights from FLL to the Caribbean and Latin America, along with a 60% increase in lie-flat seat capacity compared to last summer.

Daniel Shurz, JetBlue’s head of revenue, network, and business planning, explained: “As we continue building the best leisure network on the East Coast, we provide customers with more value, options, and comfort. With direct access from Philadelphia and Guayaquil via Fort Lauderdale, we not only simplify travel to vacation destinations but also visits to family and friends, reinforcing our position as the preferred airline in South Florida.”
