The Spanish airline LEVEL has launched a comprehensive overhaul of its onboard dining offerings, available since May on all routes connecting Barcelona with the United States, Argentina, and Chile. This update aims not only to enhance the passenger experience but also to align the service with current culinary trends and sustainability standards.
Fresher and More Varied Menus Every Three Months
One of the most significant changes is the new rotation frequency for traditional menus. Moving forward, the menu will be updated every three months instead of every six, allowing for the incorporation of seasonal ingredients and a greater variety of dishes.
Options from Barcelona
Flights departing from the Catalan capital feature dishes such as a French omelet with cheese, turkey, and ratatouille; asparagus tortellini cacio e pepe; and chicken with noodles in an oriental sauce. For dessert, passengers can enjoy cheesecake or chocolate cake. Additional upgraded options include a cheeseburger with fries, teriyaki noodle wok, and BBQ pork ribs.
Menus from Latin America
For flights originating in LATAM, the new offerings include chicken ragout with puttanesca sauce and potatoes, penne pasta with tomato and pesto sauce, a club sandwich, and a ham and cheese bagel. Dessert features the traditional chocotorta with dulce de leche.

Options from the U.S.
On routes departing from the United States, the menu includes BBQ chicken with rice, rotini pasta with creamy tomato and olive sauce, scrambled eggs with chicken sausage, and a wheat salad with vegetables. A classic brownie provides the sweet finish.
Customizable Options and Special Diets
LEVEL continues to prioritize personalization, offering vegan alternatives and menus tailored to special dietary needs, which can be requested in advance.
Pre-Order Platform: Less Waste, Lower Impact
The airline has enhanced its pre-order platform, allowing passengers to select and customize their meals before the flight. This feature not only improves the experience but also significantly reduces food waste and onboard load. As a result, fuel consumption is optimized, and emissions are reduced.
New Onboard Retail Offerings and Customizable Kits
LEVEL has also updated its onboard retail menu, now featuring more sweet and savory snack options, new sandwiches, and a wider variety of beverages. In Economy Class, the new customizable Amenity Kit has been introduced, designed to suit each passenger’s preferences.
Additionally, the culinary redesign extends not only to passengers but also to crew members, who will receive new dishes aligned with service cycles.
