Emirates has officially unveiled “Emirates First,” a new exclusive experience for First-Class passengers and Skywards Platinum members, located in Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport.

This revamped space redefines the check-in experience and elevates the concept of hospitality from the first moment on the ground until takeoff.

Privacy, Comfort, and Personalized Service from the Start

The new check-in center has been meticulously designed to offer a private and refined environment, fully aligned with the expectations of the most discerning travelers. From the moment guests arrive at Emirates’ exclusive departure area, a grand golden entrance marks the gateway to the space, where a dedicated host welcomes them and verifies their eligibility.

Adel al Redha, Emirates’ Chief Operating Officer, stated: “We are heavily investing in upgrading our ground products. Emirates First will provide a unique and private setting that our First-Class passengers and Platinum members will appreciate for its privacy and convenience. This experience takes check-in to another level as part of our mission to continuously enhance the entire journey.”

Thoughtfully Crafted Design: Functional Elegance

The Emirates First ambiance combines warm, natural tones, bronze and gold accents, and a visually soothing atmosphere. The interior features majestic columns, wooden and marble flooring, plush carpets, and high-quality leather and fabric furnishings.

Inspiration from the interiors of Emirates’ most modern cabins is evident, with iconic elements like the illuminated Ghaf Tree, paying homage to the UAE’s national tree. Additionally, digital screens and advertisements have been removed to foster a tranquil environment, while soft lighting and natural greenery enhance visual comfort.

A Streamlined and Tech-Savvy Process

Recognizing the value of time for its premium passengers, Emirates has integrated technology seamlessly: check-in procedures can be completed via iPad directly from their seats. Families can relax while one member handles the process for everyone. Traditional marble and brass counters are also available for those who prefer a conventional approach.

Luggage is handled on exclusive First-Class conveyor belts, allowing passengers to proceed swiftly to Security and Immigration before heading to one of the three Emirates First-Class Lounges in Terminal 3.

Beyond Check-In: Uninterrupted Luxury

In the VIP lounges, guests can enjoy à la carte menus crafted by chefs, a selection of fine wines, spirits, and champagne, complimentary spa treatments, business centers, children’s play areas, and duty-free shopping with concierge service.

This meticulous attention extends beyond Dubai Airport. Globally, Emirates offers complimentary access to 43 of its own VIP Lounges and chauffeur-driven transfers in most destinations, ensuring a premium door-to-door experience.

Part of a Broader Luxury Investment Strategy

The launch of Emirates First is part of a series of recent investments by the airline aimed at elevating the First-Class experience. In May, Emirates announced new onboard enhancements, such as personalized menus that tell the stories behind their wines and dishes, exclusive Robert Welch tableware designed for unlimited caviar tastings, and rustic boards for artisanal cheeses.

Emirates First is not just a new space—it’s a statement of principle: every step of the journey should be as memorable as the destination. With this move, Emirates reinforces its leadership as the airline with the largest international First-Class seat capacity—26,800 per week—and demonstrates its continued commitment to setting the standard in luxury, innovation, and customer experience.
