As of October 26, 2025, Lufthansa will once again operate non-stop flights from Munich to Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
The route will be served three times a week, departing from the Bavarian capital at 21:45 and arriving in Riyadh at 04:50 the following day (local time).
The return flight will take off from the Saudi capital at 06:25, landing in Munich at 10:25, enabling seamless connections to Lufthansa’s global network from this hub.
Airbus A350-900: Technology and Comfort
For this route, the airline will use the Airbus A350-900, one of the world’s most advanced long-haul aircraft. The plane features 293 seats across three classes, offering an efficient, comfortable, and sustainable travel experience.
A Historic Relationship with Saudi Arabia
This year, Lufthansa celebrates the 65th anniversary of its first flight to Saudi Arabia. Together with Eurowings and ITA Airways, the company will connect Riyadh, Dammam, and Jeddah, offering 22 weekly flights to Saudi destinations.
Collectively, the Lufthansa Group airlines operate over 120 weekly flights to the region, reinforcing their presence and leadership in the Middle Eastern market.
The relaunch of the Munich–Riyadh route underscores Lufthansa’s commitment to the Saudi market, providing direct connectivity, cutting-edge technology, and a premium flight experience for business, leisure, and global transit passengers.
