LATAM Airlines concluded July 2025 with figures confirming its recovery and expansion in the regional and international air travel market. The group transported nearly 8 million passengers during the seventh month of the year, marking a 7.9% increase compared to the same period in 2024. From January to July, the cumulative total reached 49.5 million passengers transported.

Rising Capacity and Demand

Consolidated capacity, measured in available seat kilometers (ASK), grew by 10% year-over-year. This increase was accompanied by an improvement in the load factor, a key indicator for measuring supply utilization.

The growth was driven primarily by a 12.2% increase in international capacity and an 11.8% rise in domestic capacity for LATAM Airlines Brazil.

Meanwhile, consolidated traffic (revenue passenger kilometers, RPK) rose by 10.4%, pushing the consolidated load factor to 86.7%—0.4 percentage points higher than July 2024.

Cargo Segment Shows Strong Performance

The cargo business also delivered positive results. Cargo capacity (ATK) grew by 5.1%, reaching 703 million available ton-kilometers. This progress reinforces LATAM’s position in regional and international freight transportation.

July’s results underscore LATAM’s operational efficiency and the strong demand for its services. The company remains one of the most prominent players in South American aviation, with domestic and international operations spanning Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Paraguay, connecting millions of passengers and tons of cargo every month.
