- Chicago and Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, New Orleans, and Las Vegas.

Expansion into Central America
The airline will add three weekly flights from Houston to Guatemala City (Guatemala) and San Salvador (El Salvador), along with an additional weekly service to San Pedro Sula (Honduras).
Larger Fleet and Enhanced Connectivity
To ensure passenger connectivity beyond its main hubs, United will add more flights between Houston, Chicago, and Los Angeles, in addition to operating larger aircraft on the route between Chicago and New York LaGuardia.
Patrick Quayle, Senior Vice President of Global Network Planning and Alliances at United, emphasized: “If Spirit were to cease operations abruptly, it would be extremely disruptive. We are adding these frequencies to provide their customers with alternative options if needed.”
With over 360 destinations, including 75 not served by any other U.S. airline, United remains the largest airline in the world. Domestically, it serves more than 225 cities with an average of over 4,000 daily operations.
