Etihad Airways has announced the addition of Palma de Mallorca to its seasonal destination network, offering a direct link between the Middle East and the Balearic capital. This route, which becomes the 29th recently announced by the airline, strengthens the carrier’s appeal in the Mediterranean market by connecting Abu Dhabi with one of Europe’s most iconic tourist destinations.
Operational Details
Between June 12 and mid-September 2026, the airline will operate three weekly flights between Abu Dhabi and Palma de Mallorca. This will be the only direct connection from the Middle East to the city, opening up new access possibilities to Ibiza and the rest of the archipelago.
The flights will be operated using Airbus A321LR aircraft, which redefines the single-aisle flight experience by offering a cabin service comparable to that of a wide-body aircraft.
