During the month of April, Tocumen moved 1,892,549 passengers. Operations maintained a steady pace, averaging approximately 63,085 daily movements. Traffic flow analysis identified Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays as the peak days for traveler volume at the terminal.
The breakdown of passenger traffic at the airport was distributed as follows:
- Connecting Passengers: Accounted for 74% of the monthly total in April, with 1,398,576 users, reaffirming Tocumen’s role as a strategic transfer hub for the region.
- Enplaned Passengers (Departures): Recorded 255,417 passengers, marking a 7% growth (an additional 16,391 travelers) compared to April 2025.
- Deplaned Passengers (Arrivals): Reached 238,556 users, equivalent to a 4% increase (9,707 more travelers) over the same period last year.

Panama’s primary airport maintained a robust connectivity network in April, averaging 442 daily flight operations. The terminal hosts 16 commercial passenger airlines and 14 cargo carriers, linking the country to 92 international destinations and 1 domestic destination.
