Following the temporary suspension of flight operations to and from Maiquetia International Airport, the carrier has decided to centralize and bolster its strategic operations at General Jose Antonio Anzoategui International Airport in Barcelona, ensuring business continuity and the steady flow of passenger traffic within and out of Venezuela.

Barcelona as a Strategic Hub and Domestic Network Reconfiguration

To mitigate the impact of the suspension at Maiquetia, Avior Airlines has reconfigured its domestic schedules, utilizing Barcelona Airport as its primary connection hub. This efficiently links the country’s eastern, western, and Andean regions through direct flights and optimized multi-stop operations.

This connection operates on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and will add a new frequency on Sundays starting July 19, 2026:
