Avianca announced that will include Covid testing on two types of international tickets.
Avianca announced its alliance with SynLab Colombia in order to facilitate compliance with travel requirements for passengers flying from certain cities in the country to the airline’s international destinations.

Those who purchase tickets in the L and XXL fares will not have to pay an additional cost for the PCR or antigen test, which will be included in the ticket price. Travelers who purchase XS, S, M or XL fares will also have access to substantial discounts for PCR tests and antigen tests,” explained the airline.

The cities available for the test will be Bogota, where the result can be delivered in 24 hours, while in Cali, Medellin, Cartagena, Barranquilla, Manizales and Santa Marta, the approximate delivery time of results is 36 hours.
Recommendations to take into account:
Tickets in sizes L and XXL include a COVID PCR or antigen test with SynLab Colombia. If the passenger makes a change in his/her itinerary, and the test included in his/her size has already been performed, subsequent tests will not be covered by Avianca.
In the case of sizes XS, S, M and XL, payment for the fitting must be made through the payment methods enabled by SynLab.
The benefits apply for tickets issued from February 17, 2021 and the alliance will be extended according to the requirements of the authorities of each country.
