The arrival of this new aircraft is part of the fleet change plan that the airline initiated in 2020, with which it replaced its first four Boeing 737-700 aircraft with 737-800 aircraft.

The addition of this aircraft is in addition to last week’s announcement of the reopening of flights between Bogota and Mexico City as of March 22, 2021.
