Viva Aerobus inaugurated this Friday its new route from the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) to Cancún.
The AIFA–Cancún route offers a daily flight with prices starting at $315 pesos for a single trip, plus the payment of the Airport Use Fee (TUA).
Viva Aerobus had previously inaugurated three routes to/from the AIFA with destination to Monterrey, Guadalajara and, now, Cancun. Soon, in September, the airline will also start operations from said airport to Acapulco, Puerto Escondido and Oaxaca.
→ Viva Aerobus postpones start of routes from AIFA and Toluca.
During this year, Viva Aerobus has increased its presence in Quintana Roo with the inauguration of the Cozumel – Monterrey route; with the upcoming restart of Cancun – Toluca flights, and with the increase in frequencies on seven routes to/from Cancun.
As a result, the airline has one of the widest offers in the state, 28 routes flying from Cancun, Chetumal and Cozumel.
“We continue working so that more people can fly safely and reliably, in modern aircraft and at low prices to and from a greater variety of destinations, thus satisfying the needs and preferences of all types of travelers. Both the Mexican Caribbean and the Valley of Mexico are key regions within the national air market, with this new route we diversify the flight options for passenger comfort”, said Juan Carlos Zuazua, General Director of Viva Aerobus.
