The Spanish airline Volotea has inaugurated this Friday its base number 18 in Lourdes. As of today, July 1, the airline will also operate the Lourdes – Paris Orly connection, as a result of the tender to provide territorial continuity for which Volotea has been awarded, and has also launched four new routes that connect exclusively Lourdes with Strasbourg, Naples, Venice and Palermo.

The new exclusive routes will link Lourdes with Strasbourg on Mondays and Fridays starting today, July 1; with Naples on Wednesdays and Saturdays, from July 2; with Venice on Thursdays and Sundays, from July 3 and Palermo on Tuesdays and Saturdays, from July 3.
Lourdes is the eighth base of the airline in France, adding 18 in total: Asturias, Athens, Bilbao, Bordeaux, Cagliari, Hamburg, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, Olbia, Naples, Palermo, Strasbourg, Toulouse, Venice and Verona.
Since it began operating in France in 2012, the airline has carried more than 20 million passengers.
