LATAM to resume flights to Melbourne (Australia) in July 2023
LATAM Airlines will resume direct flights between Santiago de Chile and Melbourne (Australia) from July 17, 2023, according to the airline’s website.
The route will operate three weekly frequencies on Boeing 787-9 aircraft, with capacity to carry 304 passengers.

Flights will depart from Arturo Merino Benitez Airport on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 00:55 (local time), landing in Melbourne at 05:30 the following day (local time), with a duration of 14 hours 35 minutes.
From Melbourne flights will take off on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 12:25 (local time), landing in Santiago at 11:00 (local time), with a duration of 12 hours 55 minutes.
The airline currently offers flights from Santiago to Sydney and Auckland (New Zealand).
