Wingo presented this Monday its balance of the recent high holiday season that ended last Monday, January 9, 2023. During these 21 days of increased flight demand, which began on Monday, December 19, 2022, the airline operated 1,046 flights on its 33 routes connecting 21 destinations in 10 Latin American countries.
The company transported 151,367 travelers, who contributed to the consolidation of the airline industry as one of the main travel alternatives for the high holiday season for Colombians and Latin Americans.

Likewise, the airline operated 100% of the scheduled itineraries during this high season. On the other hand, Wingo recorded a punctuality rate of 86.3% during the days in question, with a percentage of flights landing within 14 minutes of the original scheduled itinerary.
“At Wingo we faced a very demanding season and we are very satisfied with the results. We were able to operate a greater volume of flights and transport more travelers to their destinations during the year-end festivities, as well as achieve compliance and punctuality indicators that are in line with the expectations and needs of our customers, especially in the midst of a season marked by holiday and reunion travel,” said Eduardo Lombana, CEO of Wingo.
Wingo is aware that travelers are increasingly demanding compliance with the basic schemes of the service chain, such as flight punctuality. For this reason, punctuality is once again one of the airline’s main objectives for 2023, in order to continue providing quality service at a low cost and in accordance with the times expected by passengers.
