Frontier Airlines announced Tuesday a major expansion of its flights to Puerto Rico with new nonstop routes from seven U.S. cities, in addition to Cancun, beginning in May.
The airline will begin nonstop flights to San Juan from Midway Airport in Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Cleveland and Baltimore/Washington starting May 4. From Detroit they will begin on May 5 and from Cancun on May 25.

In addition, the airline will also launch daily service to the Puerto Rican capital from Denver via Dallas-Fort Worth in May.
Frontier will also launch nonstop service to Aguadilla’s Rafael Hernandez International Airport from Tampa, and to Ponce from Orlando, both beginning May 4.
This brings the airline’s total number of nonstop routes to Puerto Rico to 19.
