Dominican Arajet launched a new route between Santo Domingo and Sao Paulo (Brazil) that will begin operating on September 21.
The new route will operate three weekly frequencies on Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with capacity for 185 passengers.

The flights, which will last approximately 7 hours, will take off from Las Americas International Airport at 19:20, arriving in Sao Paulo at 03:55 (local time). From Brazil they will depart at 05:40, landing in Santo Domingo at 11:50 (local time).
Tickets are already on sale with prices starting at US$ 323 round trip (taxes included).
With this launch, Arajet begins its cycle of new destination openings to South America in 2023 and increases to 18 destinations in 12 countries: São Paulo in Brazil, Lima in Peru, Quito and Guayaquil in Ecuador, Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, Barranquilla and Cartagena in Colombia, San José in Costa Rica, Guatemala City in Guatemala, San Salvador in El Salvador, Mexico City and Cancun in Mexico, and Aruba, Curaçao, St. Maarten and Jamaica in the Caribbean.
