Air passenger traffic during the first half of 2023 remained stable with respect to the figures recorded in the same period of the previous year, according to information reported by the airlines to the Civil Aeronautics.
Between January 1 and June 30, 2023, a total of 22,963,000 passengers were mobilized to and from airports in Colombia. This figure is similar to 2022, when 22,975,000 passengers were mobilized by air.

The number of international passengers mobilized in the first half of 2023 grew considerably: 8,803,000 people entered and left the country by air. This means a growth of 26.6% compared to 2022, when 6,952,000 international passengers were mobilized.
In terms of people traveling to and from domestic destinations, the Civil Aeronautics registered 14,160,000 passengers, with a decrease of -11.6% compared to the same period of 2022, when 16,022,000 passengers were mobilized.
According to records, the highest movement of international passengers was recorded in the months of January and February 2023, while the highest volume of domestic air travelers was during the vacation seasons of January and June.
