Delta Air Lines reported Thursday that it exercised purchase options for 12 new Airbus A220-300 aircraft, continuing the streamlining of its fuel-efficient fleet. With 70 aircraft still to be delivered, the airline’s A220 fleet will total 131 aircraft.
“The A220-300 offers efficient performance and flexibility,” said Kristen Bojko, Vice President of Fleet. “The continued expansion of Delta’s A220 family is an integral investment in the future of sustainable aviation.”
