Icelandair announced that it will operate a new route between Reykjavík and Innsbruck (Austria) between January 27 and March 2, 2024.
The route will operate one weekly frequency on Saturdays, using Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.

Located in the Alps and surrounded by some of the world’s best ski resorts, Innsbruck is Austria’s fifth largest city and has long been a popular winter sports destination.
Innsbruck is the latest addition to Icelandair’s winter sports destinations, joining Munich, Salzburg, Zurich, Verona, Oslo and Vancouver.
“We are delighted to announce Innsbruck as the latest destination in our extensive route network. The city is surrounded by some of the world’s best ski resorts and is a very popular destination for winter sports,” Tomas Ingason, Icelandair’s Chief Revenue Officer.
