Iberia has increased its charter flights for this summer and from July to September will add more than 300 of these special operations, 9.4 percent more than in 2022.
In the month of August, Iberia will reach 102 takeoffs of these flights, which are outside its regular schedule, and are managed for cruise companies, tour operators and travel agencies, as well as for different events.
Charter for cruises, tour operators and events
Many of Iberia’s charter flights will serve cruise lines. Among the destinations for MSC are Rome, Hamburg and Venice. In the case of Costa Cruceros, Hamburg and Venice will be repeated, but with the novelty of another Italian destination: Bari. Both services will be extended until October this year.
As for agency agreements, the airline has launched two different series.

For World2Meet, the airline has established flights between Madrid and Tirana every Tuesday. This series will continue uninterrupted throughout the summer.
And with Sama Tour Iberia has a collaboration agreement since January 2022, to offer a weekly frequency operating alternatively from Madrid to Cairo and Luxor.
Iberia’s August charter flight schedule is complemented by various operations during World Youth Day in Lisbon and other trips for teams in their various sports competitions.
In September, the company expects to operate a similar number of charter flights; in fact, it has already closed more than 100 charter operations.
