It should be noted that the WTAs, which this year commemorate their 30th anniversary, are awarded both globally and regionally/internationally, in a wide range of categories including hotels/tourist accommodations, tourist attractions and airlines/transportation. To choose the winners, a voting platform is opened to passengers and professionals who know or have experienced the products or services. From this voting comes the winners of the respective categories, with “airlines” being the largest and most massive of the event.

This year, the awards ceremony took place on August 26 on the island of St. Lucia (Caribbean), during the World Travel Awards Caribbean & The Americas Ceremony 2023, attended by Maite Gallastegui Brana, Assistant Manager Passenger Service, and Claudia Francisca Moya Seguel, Assistant Manager Crew Development, from LATAM.
