WestJet announced Thursday the return of seasonal transatlantic service from Halifax, with regular summer flights to London, Dublin and Edinburgh.
The Halifax – London (Gatwick) route will operate four flights per week from April 28; Halifax – Dublin four frequencies per week from June 19; Halifax -Edinburgh three flights per week from June 20.

All these flights will be operated on Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
“Serving our valued relationship with the province, airport, partners and customers, we are delighted to resume service between Halifax and Europe, strengthening the region’s connections to global hubs, tourism and business economies,” said Andrew Gibbons, WestJet’s vice president of external affairs.
