LEVEL will continue to offer a robust network of intercontinental connections with the Americas in its 2024-2025 winter season, which will begin on October 27. In total, throughout the months of the season, the long-haul airline from Barcelona, which is part of the IAG group, will offer 277,588 seats between Barcelona and the Americas, specifically to the cities of New York, Boston, Miami, Los Angeles, Buenos Aires and Santiago de Chile.

LEVEL now operates six destinations this winter season, one more than in the 2023-2024 season, and continues to be the only airline operating flights between Barcelona and Boston, Los Angeles, Buenos Aires and Santiago de Chile.

The main novelties in the U.S. market are, on the one hand, the 9% increase in seat supply compared to the same period in 2023 and, on the other hand, the direct flight to Miami. After the debut of this new destination this spring, it will become a year-round route, with three flights a week in winter. The other North American destinations, which are New York and Boston on the East Coast and Los Angeles on the West Coast, will also operate three flights a week.

LEVEL renews its onboard catering equipment with a more sustainable twist

In South America, Buenos Aires will have a daily flight from the start of the season and an eighth frequency will be added starting in December on Saturdays, when LEVEL will operate two flights on this route. Santiago de Chile will maintain a three-frequency-per-week operation throughout the winter and will also have a new schedule, which will improve the product offered to its customers.

“This coming winter season, LEVEL reinforces its commitment to being the preferred choice for those who want to fly direct and non-stop between Barcelona and the Americas. We will offer robust and constant connectivity from Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport, ensuring that our passengers have access to a network of destinations in the United States and South America,” said Lucia Adrover, Chief Commercial Officer of LEVEL.

Towards AOC and fleet increase

LEVEL has started this year 2024 the process to obtain its own Air Operator Certificate (AOC), which will be developed in different phases and over the next few months. In addition, the fleet growth plan envisages reaching eight units by 2026. With this commitment from IAG, the group once again demonstrates its commitment to the airline and to the development and consolidation of the Barcelona hub and its international connectivity.
