Discover Airlines continues its expansion at Munich Airport, the second-largest airport in Germany. Starting in the winter of 2025, the airline will introduce up to three weekly flights to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, strengthening its presence in the leisure travel market.
New Direct Connection Munich – Punta Cana
Beginning on October 26, 2025, the airline will offer direct flights from Munich to Punta Cana, with scheduled frequencies on Wednesdays and Sundays. Additionally, during the holiday season, the airline will add a third flight on Mondays. This route will become the only direct connection between the Bavarian capital and the popular Caribbean destination, providing passengers with a comfortable and efficient option to enjoy the tropical climate.

Expansion of Long-Haul Flights from Munich
Discover Airlines will commence its long-haul flight operations from Munich in March 2025, establishing its base with two Airbus A330 aircraft. During the summer season, the airline will operate multiple weekly flights to destinations such as Windhoek (Namibia), Orlando (USA), and Calgary (Canada). However, with the arrival of winter, the service to Calgary will be replaced by Punta Cana, adapting to the seasonal demand of travelers.
The addition of this new route responds to the growing demand from tour operators seeking more connection options between Germany and the Caribbean. In addition to the four weekly flights that Discover Airlines already operates from Frankfurt to Punta Cana, the airline will ensure daily flights to this destination during the winter.
